Another step in the right direction

Dataflex likes to make an effort, especially when it comes to the environment.

We want to be completely ‘climate-neutral’ in the future and in order to do that, we asked ourselves: “How can we reduce our ecological footprint?”. With that question in mind, we recently looked into our packaging and discovered that a large part of the plastic used inside of it can be replaced by environmentally friendly materials.

So we got straight to work. We have now replaced virtually all plastic elements in the packaging materials used for our Viewlite collection with cardboard and a pulp tray made completely of recycled paper that keeps all product parts perfectly in place during transport. This means we have reduced the amount of plastic used in this packaging from a full waste bin to less than a handful!

We have now got a taste for it and we have set ourselves the goal of being a completely polystyrene-free company in 2017!
