Orgatec 2022 Big Success

After a 4-year break, it was great to see Orgatec, the leading international bi-annual workplace trade fair, return in late-October 2022. For Dataflex it was also an opportunity to celebrate our 40th anniversary with our many visitors.

This year’s Dataflex stand was split into 3 areas: Feeling flexible, Feeling responsible and Feeling at work. We also launched a number of products and product parts at the event. And an innovation this time was the design lab, where we showcased sketches and prototypes of some of our latest concepts, and encouraged feedback and insights.

Deep discussions, high-quality feedback

Trade fairs are all about the visitors. But the icing on the cake for us wasn’t so much the number of visitors to the Dataflex stand (though we had plenty!), but the depth and quality of the discussions we had with many of our visitors. From granular discussions the Dataflex product designer had with people in the design lab to thoughtful conversations about implementing the Dataflex design philosophy or our approach to sustainability.

Orgatec is where industry insiders come together. So all the positive reactions, brilliant new ideas and feedback, and just genuine interest in what we’re doing as a company we took as a real compliment. And of course we’ll be feeding all that insightful feedback back into our product and business development processes.
