In memoriam: Bart Mos
Bart Mos, the founder of Dataflex, passed away on Tuesday, 6 March 2018 at the age of 72.
Bart acquired Viking Acoustical Corporation Europe BV in 1982 and later changed the company’s name to Dataflex International BV. Over the next 30 years, his efforts and dedication contributed to the growth and success of a company where many could take pleasure in their work. Owing to his illness, he decided to turn over the reins to his son Roderik in 2012.

Bart always remained involved with Dataflex and often dropped in to the office for a personal visit. He also advised and assisted many of his colleagues.
‘I had the pleasure of being able to work closely with Bart for 24 years. He was a man with a great deal of expertise in running the business, was innovative, and realised the importance of working amongst his personnel. His smile and sense of humour and will be sorely missed.’

The Dataflex as we now know it, where colleagues feel at home, where the human element is a key factor, and where a love for what we do is cherished, is due in great part to Bart Mos. We shall miss him and remember him with affection.
